Currents

Currents, as a collection, is a meditation on migration. More than any of our seasons before, it is inspired by pan-cultural references. Japanese raffia fans merge with Peruvian nose ornaments, Ethiopian wedding rings, rub shoulders with Scandinavian modernism. The transit of ideas has always come from the movement of people. Migration of thoughts and cultures flow together, bringing life, growth and beauty, like the currents in the ocean.
